Salsation® - the power of dancing joy
When I heard the term „Salsation®” for the first time I wondered: what the hell is it? Salsa what? Other kind of cuban salsa? NO! When you watch Salsation® videos on YouTube, you don’t see anything special. People there just dance and seem to have fun. „Is that it, seriously? Ok I go back to watch funny cats”. I didn’t know what was going on, but I knew I wanted to try it! And now I know… true magic begins when you take part in this small craziness.
No matter what activity we start, there will always be some smaller or bigger problems at the beginning, especially with dancing! Embarrassment that you lack skills can effectively deter you from further development. On the other hand, when you meet happy and friendly people creating a positive energy during classes, it makes you feel like: „hey, give yourself a chance!”. I had the same feeling when I was learning to dance or to play a violin. I went on the same mindset with Salsation®: I will attend classes one or two months and then decide whether it’s worth anything. And now I know.
This program compared to classic courses, at least at beginning doesn’t focus on perfect movements, remembering choreographies – no! We need to get most important thing from dancing – FUN! It doesn’t matter if you fail or forget something, no matter how experienced you are, you come here to have fun! Choreographies are created in such a way that it delivers us unconsciously a functional training but not only that– they are to fit accents in music. It’s the most significant part of Salsation®, if you feel music, you’ll feel the choreography too, even if you dance it for the first time!
Classes are made of 3 parts: introduction, the right part and cooldown. A warm up prepares our body to dance, it’s a quite important set of moves– you’ll find them also in choreographies. After that, we have the main part, where we dance to specific songs. If an instructor finds out that some steps seem difficult, he explains it before dancing with music, but mostly we learn it on the go, following him. At the end of the classes we have cooldown with stretching.

Salsation® repays very quickly, the program cumulates all cool stuff which dance could bring in an easy form:
When you dance, there is no past, there is no future, only here and now – a little bit of sweet, more music and smile. You feel true joy and you want this moment to last forever.
What’s more cool? Outside regular classes there is few more extra flavor activities:

I’ve met Tony Stone at first CHOREOLOGY workshop and masterclass event in the world in Białystok (Poland). I loved his energy during this time, he told us: even if something seems too hard, just do your best, keep smiling and have fun – it’s what is dancing all about. „Białystok is Dancing” was one of the biggest dancing events in our city, host by Zumba, Salsation and CHOREOLOGY instructors. It was really crazy day, I’ve been dancing for 6 hours – 3h during the workshops and 3h on the event! I didn’t expect that I can have so much energy. When you love dancing, everything is possible!
What I suggest for indecisive people – don’t stop discovering! No matter whether it’s dance classes or anything else, keep doing. It can take you to beautiful places, unknown, we will always experience more, never less. I would like to say „thank you” to all people whom I met during Salsation®, but especially to:

"Marcin, what the hell is going on here?"

Why is it so cool?
Salsation® repays very quickly, the program cumulates all cool stuff which dance could bring in an easy form:
- training and endorphins
- music and its division into accents
- last but not least, many great people creating a unique atmosphere
When you dance, there is no past, there is no future, only here and now – a little bit of sweet, more music and smile. You feel true joy and you want this moment to last forever.
- Masterclass, standard classes taught by not a standard „master”, usually with much more people. You can feel here the same energy, but significantly increased by the crowd.
- Workshops, where we learn about more technical side of dancing and find out how to work with our body better

Workshop certificate[/caption]- I can’t skip recording choreography part – one big test of already known steps
- Last but not least, a twin program CHOREOLOGY by Salsation® created by Tony Stone, more dancing than fitness seem to be a cool alternative to classic classes

- Paulina „Paola” Szulborska –the best Salsation® instructor, for her great energy during our classes, she’s crazy, she always fills us with her smile. I remember when one raining day she told us: „people, please, smile! I know it’s raining, but at least there is no snow… I don’t like snow, what about you?”
- Alejandro Angulo for creating Salsation®, filling and connecting world with positive dancing energy, I love you, I hope I will meet you someday and give you high five!
